Today we had a day at leisure. We started by spending the morning getting a prescription transferred here from home, because John accidentally left his meds in Dahlonega, and not surprisingly, they never showed up. That took about it an hour, and then we headed off to walk through the Montford neighborhood, which has a lot of Victorian and Craftsman houses.
Downtown Asheville has a very interesting busking community. Check out the lady with no teeth playing the spoons. She hits the bells with her feet whenever somebody puts money in the music case.
I love this group with the bagpiper. There's a third guy in this band who plays washtub.
This is actually a panorama of a wall that says Coca Cola, shot up very close. Looks like a loaf of bread with herbs on it. This wall was next to a Creperie where we had a delicious apple, beet and feta salad. Going to make that when I get home. First vegetables we've had since we got here. It's all meat, meat, meat, fried, fried, fried, gravy, gravy, gravy. And really good biscuits, but still...
