ON OUR WAY TO UKRAINE

e are on our way. Waiting in SF right now for first leg of our trip, to DC. Wheelchair service was good.
Zoe has 11 pounds of carry on stuff, (I weighed it at baggage check in.)  You can see all of it in the picture because she is holding her coat.
We finally arrived in Odessa, but Zoe's luggage did not. Fortunately, we had exchanged one set of clothes, and my luggage did arrive, so we both have something for today. It seems pretty warm here, but I can't say for sure. Much warmer than Vienna, though.
We have claimed (by which I mean) trashed out cabin. This one has one of those showers that uses the whole bathroom for a shower stall.

The food was delicious last night. The only downside is that I put my braces in my pocket and lost them. Hope I don't have to start back at the beginning when I get home.
Other than that, we've met some nice people and are having a wonderful time.
